Included from Protected up — or add them to an Essential will on their own. Without an LPA, if you lose capacity your family can’t simply step in; they face the Court of Protection, which takes months and costs far more than sorting this now.
The Office of the Public Guardian registration fee is currently £92 per LPA, payable directly to the OPG.
